ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

The Northshore Schools Foundation exists to raise funds and build partnerships to support academic success and excellence for all Northshore students, in alignment with district priorities.

We are a 501©3 non-profit organization founded in 1995 as the Northshore Public Education Foundation (NPEF). In 2009, the organization changed its name to the Northshore Schools Foundation (Foundation).  We represent the public arm of support for public education in the Washington State cities of Bothell, Kenmore, and Woodinville known as the Northshore Community.  The Foundation operates separately from the Northshore School District and is funded solely through private contributions. Our supporters include students, school age parents, teachers, residents, local businesses, municipalities, regional industry, and community-wide supporters of our schools and students.

We support students district-wide by funding; classroom grants at all 31 schools; National Board Teacher Certification and; enhancements to curriculum adoptions and other vital needs of our students.
