DONATE
The Northshore Schools Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to…enhancing educational opportunities for all Northshore students. We fund programs that promote academic rigor, teacher innovation and training, and success for all students.
Our Annual Calling for Kids Campaign has now begun.
The Annual Calling for Kids Campaign is an opportunity for parents and families of youth to support kids throughout the district in having the best education available to them. During the month of October, Foundation volunteers will call every household in the district asking for a donation of $100.
Donations will be used to fund innovative classroom grants, teacher national board certification training and District wide curriuculum needs. The goal this year is to raise enough funds to double the amount of classroom grants available in the district, and that there are funds to support one teacher from each school to participate in the UW mentor program ( an essential part of the National Board Teacher Certification Process.)
- The School with the largest participation will receive an award from the Foundation!
- Families who donate before October 1st will be recognized in the Bothell Reporter and the Woodinville Weekly.
- High School Student groups that volunteer to participate will be awarded $25 per student for their group. “We see this as a win/ win situation for our District. When students come together to volunteer and support other students, and their groups are supported. We all win. ”- Dalziel, Executive Director says.
