You Can Help by Donating Money and Time

Northshore School District students receive a great education, which is why so many parents choose to live in our district. Our schools make our community strong and vibrant and prepare our children well for their future. BUT, maintaining this quality across a broad spectrum of subjects, meeting new educational challenges and serving the needs of all of our students is a BIG JOB! That’s why a committed group of parents and community leaders formed the Northshore Schools Foundation: to provide much-needed financial support for our local schools.

In 2011, the Northshore Schools Foundation established five priorities to direct Foundation funding for the next three years:

Literacy Curriculum Enhancement

STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering & Math

Teacher Excellence

Advanced and Disadvantaged Learners

Enhancement Programming (Health, Fitness, Art and Music)

It is our vision that every student receives the education they need to become successful, contributing

members of society. You can help us achieve this goal in all of the following ways:

Give through your United Way Workplace Campaign

Northshore School District (NSD) employees can contribute through the Northshore Charitable Giving Campaign, which is held each October.

Ask your employer to Match Your Gift:

Many employers match employees’ gifts to non-profit organizations. Ask your company’s HR department for info.

Make gifts of securities to the Northshore Schools Foundation.

Include the Foundation in your will or bequest.
