Benefiting the Northshore Schools Foundation

Bring your book club, bunko group or wine tasting club – or even just a friend and enjoy the Taste of the Holidays. Come experience a fun filled evening of holiday shopping and wine tasting from local Woodinville wineries while you stroll through Country Village and enjoy the scenery and great shopping. We will be featuring wines under $25 so you can build up your personal wine cellar for all the upcoming holiday events.

This event follows the grand opening of the holiday season at Country Village and many stores will be offering discounts to wine walk guests.
Our event will be featuring wines from Woodinville Wine Country! And we will be highlighting table wines under $25 that you can enjoy at home and during the holidays.

This is a BYOG event – Bring Your Own Glass.

5pm-8pm Event
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of at the door for this 5:00-8:00pm event. (This is a BYOG event -Bring Your Own Glass.)

6pm-9pm Event
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of at the door for this 6:00-9:00pm event. (This is a BYOG event – Bring Your Own Glass.)

VIP Tickets

A A limited number of VIP tickets are available which provides a separate check – in with access to our premium wine tasting area. You will also receive a complimentary glass with your ticket. VIP Tickets are $35.

Wine Sales

Our wine store will be open for you too. You can purchase from the wines that are being poured and the Foundation will make a portion of each sale.
This is a great opportunity to stock up for your holiday plans.

We will be having some fun events through the night which will provide entertainment and some additional opportunities to support the Foundation.

Questions & Answers about the Wine Walk
Q: What is a Wine Walk
A: It is an event that allows you to purchase one ticket and taste wine at multiple locations. For ours you check in when you arrive. You are given a list of shops to visit that are near-by and within walking distance. Each shop hosts a winery which will have a variety of wine to taste. Many of the shops may also have appetizers paired with the tastes. Throughout Country Village there will be musicians that you can enjoy. You are free to wander from shop to shop during the open hours of the event.

Q: What does the registration fee cover?
A: The registration fee provides you with 10 tasting tickets to try 10 different wines throughout the event. Additional tickets are available for purchase. This is a bring your own glass event, glasses are not provided but are available for purchase at check in.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Please bring your printed ticket or your photo of it on your smartphone, photo identification, and your own wine glass.

Q: How does it work?
A: Check in the registration tent located in the center parking lot at Country Village. At check in you will be given a map and your tasting tickets.
You and your friends visit the stores as you desire and enjoy the wine around the village. All wine needs to be consumed within the shop.

Q: How does the Foundation benefit from this event?
A: Tickets sales and the proceeds from the silent auction, wine toss and raffle all benefit the students of Northshore through the Northshore Schools Foundation. This year the Foundation will benefit from wine sales as well.

Q: Can I get a tax write off for any part of this event?
A: Tickets and wine sales are actually sold for less than Fair Market Value so they do not qualify. Items purchased at the silent auction can be tax-deductible to the amount that is paid over the Fair market value.

Q: What are the benefits of VIP admission
A: VIP admission will provide you with early entrance to the even, appetizers, and a complimentary wine glass. Come early and beat the crowds! VIP hour is from 5 – 6pm.
