Grand opening of Zoup! means fresh soup for Bothell, and healthy snacks for students

 

Zoup! the nation’s most popular fast-casual, fresh-soup restaurant opens right here in Canyon Park on April 27th with a Charity event supporting Northshore Schools Foundation’s Healthy snack initiative slated to occur on April 26th from 5pm to 8pm.

“We’re thrilled to bring Zoup’s award-winning recipes to the Bothell area,” Franchisee Kari Hingst said. “Zoup is an absolutely wonderful and unique restaurant concept, and we know our friends and neighbors in the area will love the fresh, delicious soup we’ll be serving, along with our sandwiches and salads.”

On April 26th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm guests will be able to enjoy a bowl of award-winning soup, a big hunk of bread and fountain drink for just $5 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Northshore Schools Foundation.

“We are equally excited to partner with Northshore Schools Foundation to provide healthy snacks for students during Hang time, an after-school program for middle school students at local Junior High School,” Hingst said.

“The Foundation loves to welcome new family friendly restaurants into town, and we are especially grateful when they are willing to support one of our initiative with their grand opening efforts.   Every bowl, bread and drink purchased is going to pay for snack for two students in one of the after school programs.  Healthy food for you and your family, and pay it forward by providing healthy snack for a student too!  We are hoping to see more than 400 people  on Wednesday April 26th,” said Carmin Dalziel, Director of the Northshore Schools Foundation.

The new restaurant will be located at 1410 228th St. SE, in the Canyon Park Place shopping center. When it opens on April 27th, it will be the first Zoup! in the Seattle area and the second in Washington.

Zoup! features hundreds of award-winning soup recipes with 12 rotating daily varieties, including low-fat, low-cal, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, all served with a hunk of freshly baked bread. Customer favorites include Chicken Potpie, Lobster Bisque and Vegetarian Split Pea. The menu also features made-to-order salads and sandwiches, and all menu items are available in convenient catering sizes.  It will be open 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday – Saturday and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday.  Bothell now also has a great evening eating option that is open late.zoup
