Classroom Grant Winners

2026 Spring Classroom Grant Winners

Northshore Schools Foundation is proud to continue supporting educators’ needs, ideas and innovation in the classroom to bring an enhanced and inspired learning experience to NSD students.

For our 2026 spring cycle, we’re awarding $19,191.36 to 13 Northshore schools through 19 approved grants, empowering educators to make a lasting, positive educational impact.

We’re also celebrating each winning educator on our social media throughout May. There will be video testimonials from educators, too! Follow us to see ’em.

Attention past and spring grant winners

Hey Northshore educators and staff, did you win a grant from the Foundation? We love pictures and details about your project!

Educator feedback is essential for helping us expand our grant funding to reach even more Northshore students and classrooms. By actively sharing feedback, educators empower the Foundation’s donors and sponsors to see the true value of their contributions, which in turn allows us to allocate more funds to classroom and district grants, ultimately increasing the overall funds for Northshore grants.

There are three ways to share feedback on your classroom or district grant. Feel free to choose one, two, or even three methods that suit you best!

Thank you notes

Thank you notes written by students and/or educators. Send thank you notes from your students to let us know how your project is impacting them. You can send thank you notes via intraoffice mail to Cara Anderson-Ahrens at Admin/Northshore Schools Foundation. We like to send these directly to donors and sponsors, so please ensure they are suitable for mailing. Have students sign with their first name only and mention what was purchased.

Impact Reports

Impact reports are a great way to share how the funds you received contributed to Northshore student success. Compete our digital form to share how your grant is impacting students, today!

Photos

We’d love to see pictures of your project! Share photos of yourself, the awarded item, and/or students. Photos showing the backs of students’ heads or their hands do not require a photo release form. However, photos that include students’ faces require a photo release form signed by all parents and/or guardians of the students shown in the image. Email us for the photo release form: info@nsdfoundation.org

If you chose to send photos that include students’ faces, please ensure the following steps are completed:  Complete the photo release form, have it completed by all parents or guardians, and submit it by either sending it via intraoffice mail to Cara Anderson-Ahrens at Admin/Northshore Schools Foundation or emailing it to info@nsdfoundation.org

Email all photos to info@nsdfoundation.org in JPEG or PDF format. Please note that Northshore School District SharePoint documents cannot be accessed.
