Workplace Giving | Payroll Deduction

Give through your employer in two easy ways: workplace giving or payroll deduction.

Workplace Giving: What is it?

A Workplace Giving Program is when the employer matches the employee’s donation to a specific non-profit organization, effectively doubling or even tripling the initial donation.

Workplace Giving programs simplify the process of charitable giving, promote employee engagement, and provide significant monetary support to nonprofit organizations. Through these programs, employees can contribute to causes they care about, while employers demonstrate corporate social responsibility and foster a culture of philanthropy within the organization.

Matching Monetary Gifts are Important

Matching gifts are a powerful way to contribute because they amplify the impact of an individual’s donation. This increases funding and enables the Foundation to continue our service work for the Northshore School District, classrooms, and students.

Additionally, matching gifts encourage more employees to donate, knowing their contributions will have a greater impact. They also foster a sense of partnership between employees and employers, helping workplace morale and demonstrating a shared commitment to social responsibility and local community support.

Double Your Impact

Does your employer participate in Workplace Giving? Ask your employer’s human resources or workplace giving team for details. If yes, unlock the power of your generosity!

We accept matching donations through the following platforms: Benevity, Fidelity, NPO Connect, America’s Charities, Cybergrants, and Blackbaud.

By donating to Northshore Schools Foundation and leveraging your employer’s matching gift program, you can double the impact of your contribution.

Please ensure when making your donation, you use:

Our legal name: Northshore Schools Foundation

Tax ID Number: 91-1680139

You can make automatic charitable donations to Northshore Schools Foundation through your paycheck.

How to Set It Up

Payroll deduction is employee-initiated, so a few minutes of your time now means automatic giving all year:

  1. Log into your district payroll/HR portal | This is something you’ll set up yourself
  2. Search for “Northshore Schools Foundation” under charitable giving or voluntary deductions
  3. Choose your amount | Even $5 per paycheck adds up to $130+ a year
  4. Submit and confirm | Your gift begins with your next pay cycle automatically

For general questions about payroll deduction, email: info@nsdfoundation.org

Set it once. Support Northshore students all year.

Thank you to the companies that provide matching funds to amplify the donations of their employees.
