| Stoup Brewing Kenmore’s Beer-B-Que 2025 This is exciting! Stoup Brewing Kenmore is once again hosting their summer annual Beer-B-Que in honor of the Northshore Schools Foundation. Join us for great BBQ, good company, and a fun evening, all ages welcome! Best part: The BHS and WHS Robotics Teams will be there showcasing their latest creations! Save the date: Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025. Just show up! Time: 5:00–8:00 PM Location: Stoup Brewing Kenmore 6704 NE 181st St, Kenmore, WA 98028 This is a fundraiser for the Foundation, powered by the raffle. Prizes generously donated by Stoup Brewing Kenmore. Two ways to get raffle tickets: -Buy them — $10 each or 3 for $25 (cash & digital accepted) -Donate school supplies — in person or through our online store during the Beer-B-Que (1 supply = 1 ticket) All raffle proceeds support the Foundation!   LEARN MORE ABOUT TERRY Board Member Feature: Terry Ramsey Welcome Terry to our 2025-26 Board! We’re proud to welcome her incredible talents. Read why she choose to dedicate time and service to the Foundation. “Serving on the NSF Board has allowed me the opportunity to return to education and serve my community. I was a middle school science teacher for North Star Academy in Newark, NJ, and assistant school principal at KIPP: Columbus. My life journey has led me to entrepreneurship, but I transitioned still passionate for education and the kids. I am a recent transplant to Washington and am happy to get involved in making a difference for the local school district.” Terry’s background and education: Business Owner: Bookkeeping Match Up Education: BA in Secondary Education from University of ToledoMBA from Ashland University |

  Northshore Students Supporting Mary’s Place On July 23rd, BHS Educator Gus and Northshore students successfully delivered and vetted 10 complete computing units, including monitors, WiFi adapters, power cords, and peripherals, to Mary’s Place, a nonprofit that has “helped thousands of women and families move out of homelessness into more stable situations.” We’re so proud! |

| Removing Barriers to Education |
 Care Team: Who They Are and Why They’re ImportantThe Foundation is proud to have our Care Team Liaisons in all 36 NSD schools and programs. Started in 2018, Care Teams are designated NSD staff who nominate students in need for financial help. Most Care Team Liaisons are school staff members who have direct contact with students, such as counselors, nurses, and other support personnel. |
